one month of registration is over now and we already have 18 teams
registered. At this point we want to inform you about the process of
drawing lots. First of all the winner of IFC2011, FBC Rokycany, will
do title defense and is the first team, which will take part in this
years tournament. The remaining teams will determined in the following
way:

Step 1: Country pools

To substantiate the international aspect of our tournament, we will
choose one team of every registered country. FBC Rokycany comes from
the Czech Republic, this means that at least two teams from the Czech
Republic will take part in IFC2012. This is a small bonus for the
winning country.

Step 2: Team pool

All teams which are not selected in step 1 will take part here. The
number of teams to be choosen depends on  the number of registered
countries. In case of 7 nations, as it was last year, we will choose 8
teams in this way.

The order in the waiting list pool will also drawn by lots.

05.04.2012. Then every team has 2 weeks to pay the minimum fee of 275 €. Teams which don’t pay in time or don’t want to take part any more will be removed from the list. In this case the next available team will be selected from the waiting list pool and informed immediately.

Sorry for this restrictive way of payment but we had to change this process due
to bad experiences last year.

The registration stays open till March 31st. As you see the date of your registration has no influence to our choosing system, so please register your team now!

Today we would like to announce the International Floorball Congress 2012. It will take place from June 22nd to 24th 2012. The registration will be open from February 1st to March 31st 2012. If you want to have all the recent updates please register for our newsletter on the right side.

Like in the recent years we are planning a tournament with 16 participating teams. The tournament system will be the same than in the last years as well: there will be a preliminary, an intermediate round with groups of 4 teams and a final round for each place. With this system your team will play at least 7 games in total.

As well we are planning to offer you the unique IFC features:
- Team and players photos that will be provided to be downloaded at our website,
- Recording and streaming of all IFC games by the FeM Ilmenau.
